Cook Islands - Itineraries

The Cook Islands consist of 15 islands with a total population of approximately 19,000 people. It is scattered over some 2 million square kilometres of the Pacific Ocean.

RAROTONGA is the capital of the Cook Islands and lies in the Southern Group. With its jagged peaks and deep valleys, fertile slopes of red earth and sparkling aquamarine lagoon, it is the classic 19th century European ideal of paradise.

It was one of the last of the islands in the Pacific to be visited by European ships and has always been a favourite of sailors and merchants. Many old South Sea hands consider it the most beautiful island in the Pacific.
